As President + Creative Director, Lauren has been planning weddings & events for more than a decade under the brand.
Originally from Toronto, Ontario, Lauren began her career working for major restaurant chains and five-star hotels, where her passion for event planning sparked. She received her certification as an International Wedding Planning Professional in 2010 and has been planning events under Twelfth Night Events since 2012.
As a serial entrepreneur, Lauren continued to see gaps in the industry where her experience, level of service, and keen eye for detail could be utilized. What began as a solo entrepreneur wedding planner has quickly grown into a leading hospitality group through Lauren's devotion to the industry and passion for exceptional service.
President | Creative Director
John began his career in 1999 working for a reputable restaurateur, where he started as an “Opening Manager”. After several years working for restaurants, John chose to grow his experience within the hospitality industry by moving into the hotel sector in 2005, working for Starwood Hotels (Sheraton, Westin, the W, Le Meridien, Luxury Collection).
In 2014, John joined the Liv Love Hospitality Team (then known as Twelfth Night Events) where he began helping with business growth and account management. In 2020, after acquiring a wedding venue, John's role evolved into operations. Overseeing the build process, the property management, and logistics, John is often found in the background ensuring every detail is running as efficiently as possible.
Vice - President
As a veteran of the Hospitality industry for more than 10 years, Shandi has held many positions; from Banquet Server, to Bartender, to Food & Beverage Manager, to Event Coordinator, and now Wedding + Event Manager for our team. Her devotion to the industry and extensive knowledge have become an incredibly valuable asset to our clients.
Shandi joined our team in 2017, after working alongside our team for years as a vendor. Since joining our team, Shandi has quickly worked her way up from Event Manager to Event Director, leading the wedding planning division of our company.
Shandi's passion for events is apparent upon first impression, and she continues to win the hearts of our clients, truly embodying the high standards and exceptional service we aim to offer.
Event Director
Selena graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business Communication at Brock University and recently completed a Public Relations Postgraduate Diploma at Western Continuing Studies. Her passion for business and creative arts led her down the path of Event Management, where she began her career working in the sports and entertainment field, planning tournaments and foundation events.
While her heart is firmly planted in major event planning and PR, Selena's love of all things design, fashion and event planning brought her into the wedding industry in 2022. Joining Twelfth Night Events as our Wedding & Event Coordinator, Selena brings a drive and determination to her work that will assist our clients in creating thoughtfully planned and stylish events.
Event Coordinator
With Graphic Design being at the forefront of Vanessa's skillset, she joined our team in 2021 as our in-house graphic designer and coordinator. Her years of experience working with major brands in the health and fitness sectors have built a strong foundation for design.
After meticulously planning her own wedding, with Twelfth Night Events helping along the way, her passion for events and beautiful design possibilities was ignited and she quickly joined our team to help bring thoughtful design to our clients.
Vanessa's love for all things weddings allows her to hold 2 positions with our team: graphic designer and event coordinator. Her organization skills and driven work ethic make her an exceptional force for our team.
Graphic Designer + Coordinator
Brandy partners with our team as an established Entrepreneur with over 15 years of experience in the event industry within the Greater Toronto area. Her business, L'Atelier Event Company, has successfully managed noteable ventures including La Petite Fleur and La Petite Chapelle.
Her wealth of experience in growing and managing beautiful event spaces has been an asset to our venue, Wheatfield Estate, as she has partnered with us to bring our event space to the next level.
When not planning weddings and events at Wheatfield, Brandy can be found creating lush blooms and designs for Clients, for their weddings, events, and home celebrations. Her wide range of talents and timeless style make her a perfect extension of our creative family.
